Ep 023: Why Quilting Community Matters | More Stories from the Sweater Weather Sampler Sewalong

SPOTIFY | APPLE | YOUTUBE

Part II of this Patchwork Revival Podcast series, I’m sharing more of your stories stories from the Sweater Weather Sampler Sew Along.

One week simply wasn’t enough time to share the wonderful stories and quilting histories we found as a community during the Sweater Weather Sampler sewalong last year.

What started as a cozy group project with The Nine Patch Quilt Collective quickly became a thriving community of quilters who shared stories about growth, learning, confidence, and finding connection during one of the most incredible quilt along experiences I’ve ever been a part of.

This episode is so much more than a sewalong recap.

It’s about why quilting community matters—why we show up, share our progress, and cheer each other on block by block. Whether you made every block of last year’s Sweater Weather Sampler, joined late to grab some gorgeous block patterns, or simply followed along peripherally and plan to join us for 2026, you are part of our community!

Sew alongs are about more than the quilts we make. They create consistency, encourage progress over perfection, and remind us that quilting doesn’t have to be done alone.

If you’d like to share your own quilting story, email me at hello@patchworkrevivalstudios.com. Let’s keep building the Patchwork Revival community—one story at a time.

From family heirlooms to thrift store finds, the Patchwork Revival podcast celebrates the generational connections made through the quilts we love.
