The Little Leaf block is my modern interpretation of a traditional Maple Leaf quilt block. The design is made almost exclusively using half square triangles (HSTs), and is intended to be a skill-building project for quilters of every experience level. There are many techniques for making HSTs, and this pattern explores three of the most common ways to make multiple HSTs at a time. This pattern includes instructions for a mini quilt comprised of a single block that finishes at 20” x 20” and is perfect for showing off cozy fabrics in your favorite colors to bring a bit of the fall season indoors!
